In early 2014, production started at Animech Technologies on a new online configurator for Elfa. Aimed towards Elfa’s re-sellers, it allows them to configure a storage solution for their consumers. Since it’s launch in late 2014/early 2015, the response has been overwhelmingly positive from both Elfa and their re-sellers, which is always fun to hear.
During 2016 a new version of the storage planner started development. This time the tool was aimed towards consumers directly. The biggest difference between the two applications was usability. Whereas the professional planner requires knowledge of Elfa’s product, the consumers planner can be used by anyone.
I was responsible for modeling and texturing almost all of Elfa’s over 500 products.
