In 2014, Animech created the app Discover Äkta for GE Lifescience. Now 6 years later, comes the spiritual successor: Purify App. It’s an online configurator that lets you customize many of GE’s (now Cytiva’s) protein purification machines for your specific needs. Since they are built to be interchangeable, you can swap out the slotted components freely.
I was responsible for all 3D work on this project. In total, I created 5 different machines, 88 slotted components, 24 accessories, and 8 external components.
