
Marshall ordered a new batch of AR models from Animech. This time we created their newly announced headphones: Marshall Major V and Marshall Minor IV.
As with the first batch of models, we delivered GLB and USDZ models which had to stay under 5 MB each. The largest contributor to the filesize are the textures. In order to utilize them the most, we created these models with symmetry. We modeled one half, then flipped it to produce the other side. Then we shifted the UVs of the flipped side by 1 tile. This prevented conflicts later when baking the model in Substance Painter.
