Trelleborg contracted Animech to create a visual configurator for their fender sales tool. It is aimed at owners of large scale docks who need to accommodate multiple docking scenarios. With the tool, users can select 14 different types of vessels, input their dock’s measurements and approach angles, and calculate important safety factors. Trelleborg can then help the customer choose the right type of fenders for the customer’s needs.
I was responsible for creating the majority of the vessels. I also created the different docks and fenders. Below you can see the different vessels, as well as more screenshots from the application.
